Gerhard Neumann

Hi! I am Gerhard Neumann, currently PhD Student at the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science (Institut für Grundlagen der Informationsverarbeitung, IGI) at the Graz University of Technology (TU-G) under the supervision of Prof. Wolfgang Maass . I was born in the year 1981 in the beautiful town Deutschlandsberg, near Graz. After growing up, I started to study telematics in the year 1999 in Graz. I concentrated on Machine Learning and Algorithm Design and finished my Master's in June 2005. Now I am working as PhD student at a machine learning project for humanoid robots. My research interests are Reinforcement Learning, Robotics, Embodied Artificial Intelligence, Developmental Learning, Value Systems and anyway, everything that is connected to machine learning :).
