- "Seminar Theoretische Informatik B": Es werden einige an der Carnegie-Mellon University entwickelte Strategien für Roboter-Fußball besprochen, variiert und mit dem offiziellen Simulator des RoboCup getestet. Gegenwärtig wird ein Roboter-Fußball Team an der TU Graz (mit Schwerpunkt auf der Middle-Size League) zusammengestellt, mit dem Ziel im Jahr 2003 am RoboCup teilzunehmen und ihn zu gewinnen. Interessierten kann dieses Seminar als Einstieg dafür dienen.

- "Einführung in die Künstliche Intelligenz": Gives an introduction to artificial intelligence. It is based on the book "Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach" by Russel and Norvig. An important part will be programming examples aof intelligent agents for use in simulation environments like the "wumpus world".

- "Maschinelles Lernen A": This lecture is about machine learning algorithms: reinforcement learning, graphical models, belief networks, etc. We will work with the Khepera simulator which can be found and downloaded from here.
- "EDV für Chemiker": Introduction to the application of computers for students of technical chemistry. The overview features among other things topics like: basics of hardware, programming, data analysis and presentation, the internet, email and news services. It is being tought together with Thomas Natschläger.
- Seminar "Lernalgorithmen in der Robotik": This seminar is held together with Prof. Maass. It deals with certain algorithms useable for the special requirements in the robot contest. It is also meant as a discussion and presentation forum for the competing teams of track two.
