Blind Source Separation: Eine Einführung

A Tutorial for the Course Computational Intelligence

Abstract

This tutorial introduces Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Independent Component Analysis (ICA). The differences are described and the application to Blind Source Separation is mentioned.

Usage

To make full use of this tutorial you have to
  1. Download the file BSS.zip which contains this tutorial in printable format (PDF) and the accompanying Matlab program(s).
  2. Unzip BSS.zip which will generate a subdirectory BSS/matlab where you can find the Matlab program(s).
  3. Add the path BSS/matlab to the matlab search path with a command like

addpath('C:\Work\BSS\matlab') if you are using a Windows machine or

addpath('/home/jack/BSS/matlab') if you are using a Unix/Linux machine.
