Content of the seminar:

In this seminar we will focus this semester on models for top-level control of behaving systems.
The concrete incentive for that comes from our proposed contribution to the ORGANIC project

(see http://reservoir-computing.org/ ),

where we want to develop neural-system based models for procedural rules, as needed for syntactical
processing of spoken language. But it turns out, that this

problem cannot be separated from problems
related to neural implementations of memory and use of memory for problem solving. Hence we need
to get an overview of the most important concrete models for that too.
