- Arriving by airplane

Graz
The airport Graz-Thalerhof is a
few kilometers away from the city of Graz. You can either
- take a taxi, which is
the most comfortable way. Taxis are available directly in front of the airport
building. The fare from the airport to the institute
will cost you approximately 15 - 17 EUR.
- use public transport.
- Take bus no.631 to Graz-Hauptbahnhof
(Main Station) (ticket machine available in the bus).
- Take tram no. 6 and get out at the
station "St.
Peter Schulzentrum" (ticket
machine available in the tram).
- On the other side of the
street (Petersgasse) there is a
sign saying "Technische Universität Graz - Bereich
Inffeldgasse", pointing down Inffeldgasse.
- Go down Inffeldgasse and
after passing the "Studienzentrum Informatik" turn right.
- Inffeldgasse 16b is
located
in the gray building directly in front of you, about 20 m away from the
street.
- The Institute for
Theoretical Computer Science is on the first floor.

- Arriving by train
You arrive at Graz Main Station
(Graz
Hauptbahnhof).
To reach the institute you can either
- take a taxi
(fare: 15 - 16 EUR)
- or you can go by tram (Graz
Public
Transport (GVB)).
- When you leave
the Station Hall turn right to see the tram stop.
- Take tram no. 6
to and get out at the station
"St. Peter Schulzentrum". This ride
takes about 20 - 30 min. Ticket
machine is available in the train.
- On the other side of the
street (Petersgasse) there
is a
sign saying "Technische Universität Graz - Bereich
Inffeldgasse", pointing down Inffeldgasse.
- Follow that sign until you
see the first university building
("Studienzentrum Informatik") on the right
hand side.
- Turn right after that
building. The institute is located
in the gray building right in front of you, about 20 m away from the
street, on the first floor.

- Arriving by car
Entering into the campus by car please give the institute sufficient
notice (some days before), so that we are able to induce your visitors
registration (daniela.potzinger@igi.tugraz.at)
or
(angelika.zehetner@igi.tugraz.at).
- You are on the motor-way (Autobahn) A2:
- Leave the motor-way at
Exit "Graz Ost" and then take Exit "Raaba".
- Turn left
into St.-Peter-Gürtel.
- Follow the street towards
the city center of Graz for a few kilometers.
- At the 4th
crossway (on the right hand side is a bank) turn left into Petersgasse.
- Then turn left into the
second
street (Inffeldgasse), opposite a big bus and tram station.
- There is a gate at the
entrance of the campus which will
open after ringing the bell and telling the security staff who you are
visiting and that your visitors registration was induced (parking
spaces are available).
- The institute is located
on the right hand side after the "Studienzentrum Informatik", about 20 m away from the
street, on the first floor.
